I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Classical Puppets petti! The petti that I own is vintage, which isn’t very helpful advice on where to get one.. vintage petticoats are very hit or miss, I find.

You can wear a petti that’s shorter under a longer dress or skirt.. sometimes. It doesn’t always work out and it depends on the dress. If the dress has a built in petti layer, that really helps!! Angelic Pretty dresses typically have this layer. It makes it so your poof is even no matter what length of petti you wear underneath.

If there’s no built-in petti, however, you might find that the bottom of your dress droops a bit sadly when you wear a petticoat that’s too short under it. I’ve heard that it helps this problem if you wear an extra skirt underneath to add an extra layer of thickness. : )
